This nautical trinket box showcases a scrimshaw style, an artistic medium known for being the first art form to spring from Americas heritage. These black horn boxes are ethically made by artisans in India with real horns from water buffalo. Each tile is cut to size and attached to the wooden box before being hand carved, making each one unique. -The bottom and inside of the box are lined with green felt and the design is finished with a brass latch.
